P4C Parents Meeting
1st February 2020
On Thursday 27th February we held a Philosophy for Children (P4C) parent meeting. Parents came in to learn more about our P4C journey and how what their children are learning. Thank you to everyone who came and the children for their amazing questioning.
Philosophy for Children was created in the late 1960s, and its aim was to encouraged children to be more reasonable, reflective and considerate. P4C is essentially about developing thinking and reasoning skills, through talking and posing challenging questions. These questions cover a range of subjects and experiences. P4C is designed to get everybody thinking.
Not all questions can be answered but all answers can be questioned!
Please ask your child/children more about P4C. Thank you
