Admission to EYFS for September 2026

In Gloucestershire children can start primary school, if their parents wish, in the September of the school year in which they become five. For children due to start in September 2026 the child's date of birth falls between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020. The school year starts on 1 September.

Applications must be made to Gloucestershire County Council for every child stating school in September 2026. 

Parents can apply online 24 hours a day, seven days a week from 3rd November until midnight on 15 January or by completing a paper form which can be downloaded from Gloucestershire County Council School Admissions webpage, or requested from the County Council's Co-ordinated Admissions Team on 01452 425407.
