Welcome to our Year 4 Classroom!

Here in Year 4, we are excited to explore, learn, and grow together. Our class is a friendly and creative space where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities and every pupil is valued.

On our class page, you will find updates about what we are learning each term in all of our subjects. Our key topics over the course of Year 4 are Rainforests, Ancient Greece, Rivers, Living things and their habitats, The Romans and Where does our food come from?

Being able to recall all of your times tables up to 12 is essential by the end of Year 4. All Year 4 children sit the statutory Multiplication Check assessment in the Summer term.

Your support at home is vital. Encouraging daily reading, practising times tables, and helping with homework makes a huge difference.
