Happy New Year! I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas.
On behalf of all the staff at Severnbanks Primary School I would like to wish you and your families a Happy New Year.
‘A New Year is like a blank book. The pen is in your hands. It is your chance to write an amazing story for yourself.’
A special welcome to our new children and their families; we hope you will enjoy your time with us at Severnbanks School and we look forward to working with you.
Our School Value for the Spring Term is RESPECT. We endeavour to ensure that all learners show respect for everything (friends, adults, property) and we constantly remind learners of the values that underpin our every action. We as a school will continue to support you in reminding your child to say please, thank you, excuse me and to be patient when people are talking, to learn to wait, to hold the door open for others and to offer to help.
I know you will all continue to work with us, so your child can grow in confidence, with a love of learning, and a determination to be the best person they can be.
Home Time Arrangements
All children must be collected on time at the end of the school day, by the designated parent/carer. Please ensure your child is aware of home time arrangements, ie who will be collecting them, if they are to walk home alone or if they are attending a ‘Kids Club’. You MUST contact the school office if there is a change, ie another adult will be collecting your child – we will not let your child go home unless we are notified.
Please ensure that if someone new is regularly collecting your child that they have been added to your child’s contact list.
If you have changed any of your contact details please can you notify Mrs Woods in the office to ensure our contact lists are up to date.
Finally, thank you for your support, and we look forward to another successful year, for your child, for you and for our whole school community.
