I love my dinosaur by Dorling Kindersley books Dear Dinosaur by Chae Strathie This is to enhance our learning. We will also read non fiction books related to dinosaurs.
Term2 Topic was all about Inventors. The children learnt about famous inventors and used their own knowledge and skills to be inventors themselves. The books used to enhance the learning were Mrs. Armitage on Wheels by Quentin Blake and The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires
The Most Magnificent Things read aloud! Term 5 we are reading The Emperor's Egg and Lost and Found
Term 6 we are reading Jack and the beanstalk –A traditional fairy tale, Jim and the beanstalk by Raymond Briggs and Oliver’s Fruit Salad by Vivien French. These link to our Science and PSHE learning.
