Providing remote learning
Attendance is essential for our pupils for most of their school experience, including for their attainment, well-being and wider life opportunities. Remote learning will only be provided as a last resort to enable pupils to keep on track with their education, and they be connected with their teachers and peers.
Where remote education may be considered.
School Closure or restriction on attendance, where school access for pupils is restricted
Individual cases where a pupil is unable to attend school but is able to learn.
Individual cases - There should only be limited circumstances where a pupil is unable to attend school but is able and well enough to continue their education remotely. This will be only applied to a short term absence eg recovery from an operation or an infectious illness.
School will consider providing remote education on a case by case basis.
